I am sending this mail so that in the future secretaries can make our hostel night more fun and memorable for the graduating students, and hence I will be stressing on things that went wrong. I compliment the guys for all the good things that happened last night, such as DJ and the ambience.

So, let's start with what went wrong:

1. RGs just took forever.

Very few RGs were put up at 8pm. Several were put up at 10pm and later. As I am writing this mail, quite a few RGs haven't yet been printed or at least they are nowhere to be seen. I just can't stress enough how big a cup this is. All the people involved in this to whatever extent should be truly ashamed of themselves. Whatever fucking excuses you give, I don't give a damn. You didn't do your job, that too the most important one. You guys didn't even have to compile the RGs. Your job was just to copy-paste the text, put the pic, align the text to fit it in the template, and print the damn thing. I am no expert in Photoshop, but anyone with a little common sense will tell than it's not a rocket science job that will take days together. AND EVEN IF IT IS, people responsible for it should have planned accordingly. It's a shame, really.

2. The food was pathetic.

Right from having the same queue to Veg starters and Veg main course (who does that?! Which hostel has same queue for starters and main course?! Stupid fellows!) to the ice-cream wala person arbitly giving up on serving the ice-cream to anyone, the caterers and their arrangements sucked big time. The ice-cream wala took his scoop and ran off somewhere, leaving all the ice-cream and bowls and everything right in the middle. After that, it was a mess. Everyone was taking the ice-cream themselves. I don't know what went wrong. Why was he paid? To run away without serving the ice-cream?! Apart from that, the veg main course was horrible. The oil-ridden poori was terrible, and it got over soon. All that was left was the rice and sabji and gulab-jamun. And I am not talking about very late in the night, even before 9pm the poori was gone. Some guys said it's good that the poori was gone because it was the worst thing on menu. Anyway, the caterers were a nuisance right from arrangements to food quality.

3. Lastly, try to have the hostel night such that it doesn't class with Sharav's. I think there was some lucky draw this time, and it was our bad luck maybe. But still, the next GenSec can look into what can be done to prevent such a clash.

Cheers,
A sincere alakite wishing for the betterment of the hostel.

The food: It got over much before. I am really unsure of how many orders were placed. Let's make this transparent right here right now mess sec. The only feasible was to set this out is for you to question the caterer and for us to claim the reimbursement.

Why the f**k would you have the same queue for starters and main course?!

Why would you not have spoons to eat the main course with?!

I guess we paid 230 bucks per plate for this bullcrap! Kindly justify some sort of breakup given by the caterer. Most of us have unclaimed coupons just because the quantity was too less. Please elaborate on what needs to be done with those coupons if not burn them!

Looking forward to hearing a reply from all the secretaries really soon
