We found a source for a matching e-rubber.  They are asking that we purchase a minimum of 100ft at $2.75/ft.  We also have the option of 250ft for $2.50/ft  Looking to see how many of you would be interested in sharing what is left over after we replace ours.   Each port light on our 33 uses about 2 1/2 ft for a total of 20ft for all.  We'd really like to order this by the end of the week.
Take Care and look forward to hearing from you.

I would recommend filling the inner space with a rubber foam.

Andrew, I just took a better look at the drawing of your gasket material that you posted. I'm not used to metric so didn't translate the size. 16 x 17 mm seems much larger than the channels on my port lights, which as I recall were about 3/8" or about 8mm. Are you sure of those dimensions? They made fewer than 20 A-33's, so it seems unlikely  they'd have used different portlights. I ask because Downwind Marine, the link I sent earlier, will well 20' for US$2.60/foot. Their material is a hollow square in x-section, which is what's on my boat now, and looks old enough to be original.
I'm going to measure the channels again in the next day or 2 when I'm at the boat to be sure. Maybe I'll post a photo. I don't mean to second-guess you, but 16mm seems awfully big.

I measured with dial calipers and recreated the seal I removed from the port light. By the looks and condition of the seal, I'm certain it's original. I'll snap a couple pics to show what we have. There's a bronze ring that screws the material down at the lower portion of the e. Curious now if they may have used different port lights in subsuquent 33s. Thanks a bunch for your reply. Great to know there's others out there to share with.

Andrew,
I looked at a newer A33 in Tacoma, WA a few years ago and the portlights were definitely different from mine. Same overall shape and dimensions, but the cast around the outside perimeter of the openings was outward sloping, presumably for better drainage. That might explain the different gaskets. Mine also have the removable ring.

That does sound different. I'll take another look at mine today or tomorrow and get back.

Looks like there were 2 different port lights after all. Mine take 3/8" square rubber gasket material held in with a little adhesive and close fit.
Photos attached.
