Responsibilities The client has an opportunity for a seasoned HR Manger for
their Birmingham, Alabama Corporate Office. In this role the HR Manager will be
responsible for providing a full range of HR support to the corporate office
and outlying facilities to include but not limited to: recruiting, human
relations issues, training (variety of topics), safety and OSHA requirements,
workers compensation administration, incentive programs, and employee
communication.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years generalist experience with a strong emphasis
in recruiting and human relations. Bachelors degree. Working knowledge of
employment laws. Proven ability to manage direct reports. Proficient PC skills,
strong analytical skills, very resourceful and effective communication skills
(written and verbal). Must possess strong organizational and administrative
skills. Self motivated and drive to execute. Industrial and/or DOT experience a
plus. Previous supervisory experience required and prefers someone with
exposure to training. Local candidates preferred.
