JOB TITLE: EHS Engineer
LOCATION: Birmingham, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $55000 - $60000
DESCRIPTION:
EHS / Environmental Health and Safety Engineer - for a manufacturing operation
/ plant. This position will have full EHS responsibilities: OSHA, reporting,
accident investigations, monitoring, regulatory, permitting, training,
ergonomics, worker's comp, etc. The majority of the work will be safety
related, but does include environmental support as well.
Bachelors degree required (Safety or related field) with at least three year's
experience in a similar role in a high volume manufacturing environment
(automotive a plus). Must have a thorough understanding of safety and
industrial hygiene in a manufacturing environment. ISO 14001 a plus. Prior
certification experience a plus.
