Again, not bad ideas, and thanks, but also not really my style.

I'm signed up to do a set in the Hogbottom show, which I'll suggest to
the House Of Heroes folks they give some better play to, but I'm not
really interested in taking over their end of the deal. I prefer to
handle it from the Hogbottom side of things.

I'm not finished looking into what relationship Dave Patillo and
Hogbottom has with the HOH specifically, but will be talking with him
and Tom McGuire in the near future, and can see following many of your
ideas from that Hogbottom level.

taking over their end of the deal. Heck, I know Hogbottom is your side
of things. You don't have to tell me that, but there's obviously some
sort of communication gap between your guys and the HOH folk in terms

I agree with you, and will try to get by Tom McGuire's place tonight
or tomorrow (Tom just lives about two blocks past Del Ranch, but he
keeps early hours rather than my night owl status, so most times I
pass his house he's long since asleep) and discuss the possiblities,
get some names for House Of Heroes folks if possible, though I may
have to go to Dave Patillo for those details.

Hey, Will. I've got a few questions for you personally that I need
serious answers to before I can decide whether or not I can go to
Hogbottom. First of all what's the weed situation look like? Can those
retarded vets get hold of their pot without hassles from The Man? I'm
supposed to be at a conference in Tucson at the same time is why I'm
asking. I'm sure Hogbottom will be a blast and I'd really love to see
you again but you know how I feel about the whole POT thing and this
conference is supposed to be a big deal. I'm torn though because I'm
also heavily involved in retarded vet issues because I'm a retarded
vet of course so I take their cause very personally too like it was my
own because it really is you know and so I was wondering if you had
any advice as to what I should do about it. I mean what do you think

I know at least twice it was spoken that someone wished you were
there
at Hogbottom, JCC... as you can imagine, pretty much everyone you met
last month was there, roaming around doing what they did in Seale, if
you get the... drift.

In particular, I think you'd have hit it off with Wildman Steve (he
hosts a radio show & plays washboard now with The Ramblers) for more
than one reason. As for the festival space, picture just about the
same size area as Doo-Nanny, interestingly with the stage & lake in
almost the same positions, but with a lot more people. The estimate
last time I looked was 700+ paying guests, taking in around $9,000
for
the House of Heroes.

Just got word that Wildman Steve & the Bibb City Ramblers will not
make the show as they have a previous engagement/gig, but hope to roll
the camper in after their other show... I think you and Steve would
hit it off particularly well, Corey. I knew Steve way back in the late
1980s when he ran a great used record shop in Auburn Alabama, also
named "Wildman Steve's". His camper was the place to be last year for
fireside chats and admiration of his splendid "vaporizer".

As you know I'm not completely well versed on what individuals and
groups of individuals do about things like that, the scene seems
