DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1994 we are a fully integrated manufacturer of circular woven
polypropylene fabric, polypropylene fiber, polyethylene blown film and an
importer/distributor of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers. We market
domestically and internationally to the concrete ready mix industry. We also
import and distribute commercial packaging products, primarily in the form of
Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers and woven polypropylene bags (sand bags &
custom bags) to a variety of industrial concerns. We have an immediate need for
a results-oriented Plant Manager to make a dramatic impact on production. We
currently produce 10-12 million lbs. We need a strong, enthusiastic and
persuasive leader to direct and manage the companys Manufacturing, Quality,
Maintenance and Extrusion divisions. They will have prime responsibility to
ensure that products are manufactured on schedule within quality standards and
cost objectives. Responsibilities:
Direct/manage the manufacturing activities to achieve business objectives
Control costs to meet/exceed budgets
Direct the manufacturing of all company products consistent with established
specifications to quality & product lead times to attain on-time delivery
requirements
Establish metrics, expectations & accountabilities to direct reports
Measure internal performance metrics in productivity, labor efficiencies &
budget performance
Identify continuous improvements opportunities
Promote & maintain a safe manufacturing environment
Identify appropriate capital projects
Direct the installation/maintenance of all manufacturing equipment
Qualifications:
BS degree in a related field
7+ years of successful management role in a manufacturing facility of 50
employees or more
Experience with fabric or film or fiber manufacturing a plus
Strategic thinker with strong technical & operational skills
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing & delivery of goods in the US &
internationally
MANDATORY EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science
