Just a few days until our preconference.  Woot!  The lecture notes ( http://librarycodeyearig.github.io/python-preconference/lecture.html ) are shaping up really nicely.

Does anyone still need help or guidance with anything?  Please ask now.

Also, if you have a power strip you can bring on Friday, please do.

Laptops are optional unless you will be leading one of the projects (Wordplay, Colorwall, and catching up).  Speaking of which, we still need volunteers to lead projects.

For Wordplay and Colorwall, all you need to do is:

* familiarize yourself with the project (they are not hard)

* spend a few minutes outlining the functionality the students should aim to produce

* circulate and answer questions

For the catching-up hour, you just need to answer questions.

If you're not leading a project, you'll be helping out (i.e. answering questions).

Hi all,

I am happy to help out at the catching up hour (I'm not really sure that one needs a leader since people will just be working through practice problems), but I am not planning to bring a laptop. That shouldn't be a problem for the catching up hour though, should it?

Also, Jen, let me know if you need anything further from me to print the handouts. Thanks for taking care of that!

You can use mine -bohyunkim - if needed. I have it on my Mac which I will bring to preconference. And I recently used it.

Fyi my flight is slightly delayed due to weather in Boston - so far I'm still on track to get to Northeastern by 5 but if there are further delays I may not be.
