I think the main hashtag might just be #ala13. So #ala13py makes sense to me.

Ugh, why the change, I wonder? There's a good argument for just using #ala without the numbers at all. It makes the tag--and any child tags--unnecessarily long.

What about #alapy?

For archiving purposes having the date makes sense and allows for easier tracking. There has been some debates about adding the 20xx in conference hashtags, but that's a tangent for me to save for another day.

Change was due to some Alabama group making use of #ala13, per @shifted.

Looks like most people have a suggestion in the vicinity of #ala2013py , so let's go with that unless someone has a convincing reason we should hate it.

That said I sure do like the idea of #piethon... --ay
