These khatmal who make a huge hue and cry of Eid-e-Ghadeer ,without knowing the back ground of this incidence, try very hard for Ali KarramAllahu Wajhahu to get khilafah after passing so many centuries, is a highly misplaced claim after such a long time.The then  companions knew actually why Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam stopped the out going Sahabah to their destinations, far and off in Arabia, after performing Haj with the Messenger Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam, where the Messenger delivered a khutbah and cleared Hazrat Ali KarramAllahu Wajhahu's position, who,under the instructions of Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam had gone to Yemen to collect the zakat and other 'Anfal' collected by Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed RaziAllahu Anhu. The second instruction to Hazrat A'li KarramAllahu Wajhahu was to take out the 'Kums' from this 'Anfal' and his own share from it, that Hazrat Ali did. Among other things, Ali KarramAllahu Wajhau got a beautiful young kaneez in his share and did with her what he was supposed and allowed to do. Then the third instruction that The Apostle Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam had given to Hazrat A'li KarramAllahu wajhahu, was to join him i.e.Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallm for Haj, which he did, like other two instructions he followed.

Hazrat Buredah Aslami RaziAllahu A'nhu was in Alis' company in his journey to yemen and he thought  what Hazrat A'li KarramAllahu Wajhahu rightfully did with the girl he owned in his share of Khums, was wrong. Where as all that Hazrat Ali did was the fulfilment of the instructions he was given that Hazrat Buredah Aslami RaziAllahu A'nhu wasn't aware of and when he reached Makkah he communicated to Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam, before Haj, who said LA BA'S, and all of them performed Haj.

After the Haj, all made their ways to their destinations, then Hazrat Buredah Aslami thought it proper to repeat his observation, in yemen, That made Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam a little disturbed and he decided to call all Sahabah back by sending fast moving horses in Ghadeer Khum. When all came back, Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam gave a khutbah, praising Allah first then thanking Him for the favours He did for the Apostle Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam am the whole ummah, then he very forcefully cleared the air about Hazrat Ali RaziAllahu A'nhu and while restoring his position, the Apostle Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam declared MAN KUNTU MAULAHU FA A'LIYYUN MAULAHU.
 
In this effort, Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam made another decleration, which is known as Hadees-as-Thaqalyn, that he, Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam, is leaving behind two weighty things behind, Quran and his Ahl-al-Byt, that if the ummah sticks to these two weighty things, it shall never go astray.

Hazrat Buredah Aslami RaziAllahu A'nhu understood the high statins of Hazrat A'li KarramAllahu Wajhahu and was made to realise his own mistake when he had complained.

If Ali is our Maula, we accept it as Rasoolullah was his Maula too, so also the Sahabah A'laihimurRidhwaan expressed it, but in no way it was Rasools' order for A'lis' khilafah, that these khatmals allege the first 3 khulafa usurped the right of Ahzrat Ali (Allah bless all of them).

No body from among Sahabah A'laihimurRidhwaan ever disagreed with these 2 Grand Statements, then open heartedly performed their by'at with Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique, followed by Hazrat Umar and Usman RaziAllahu A'nhum Ajmay'een, at their proper time, till came Hazrat A'lis' time, and they also did their By'at with him too.

After centuries if khatmals now object to these facts and events, to hoods we Ahlasunnah wa Jama'ah care.

About Hadees-as-Thaqalyn, no body from Sahabah A'laihimurRidhwaan to this day Ahle Sunnah differ, rather they cherish these weighty things that Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam left for us, remain guaranty for our being on the Sirat-al-Mustaqeem and we praise Allah and thank Him for keeping us on this Right Path.

Offcourse Quran is the light that provides us guidance. So also the Itrat of Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam, from whom the shias are poles apart, for Allah had declared and cleared Hazrat Aadam A'laihissalam LA YANALU AHDIZZALIMEEN, these zalimeen have no share in these 2 weighty things.

Apart from Itrat, Ummahaat-ul-Mumineen, daughters of Rasoolullah Sallallahu A'laihi wa Sallam, Ali, Jabir and A'qeel bin Abi Talib and even Hazrat Fatimatuz-Zohrah and their families plus Hazrat Abbas and his family, Allah bless them all, are in Ahlul Byt.

If shia don't take any of them in AhlulByt, we don't give them a dime ke faqeer ka ghussa faqeer hi ki jholi main and let them make hue and cry to no avails.

These nonsensical attacks on the beloved companions of the Prophet,  pbuh,  are coming from Zaheer Hussain,  a shia agitator who has no scholarly credentials. 
His writing Is so poor that it would get him an F in high school. 
Jahil enemies of Islam like zaheer Hussain should be rebuked by the shia community.  Your silence would mean you agree with him.
