Rites...

Greetings Sept,

It was very good to see even more Garou of Birmingham finding their way home to the Caern. The Sept is well on it's way to getting stronger and more prepared to face the challenges set before us.

Since there are new people, I wanted to send out a message about Rites.

Short version is this... we all need to know as many Rites as possible to help make the Sept stronger... Everyone should know the Rite of Cleansing... It would suck to be on a field trip in the Umbra and need a Rite that no one has...So I'm asking all Garou of the Sept to reply to me with what Rites you know. We will be holding classes throughout the month in order to teach these Rites to the whole Sept.

Also... as we discovered this weekend. The Hunters are following our every move. They are watching us and studying us without hinderence. They attack our visitors... capture and tag them... THIS MUST STOP!!!  Even our own are still being taken... directly from our own Bawn... THIS TOO MUST STOP!!! They are watching... They are studying...

So we need to minimize their ability to gather information on us. I'm going to ask each of you to minimize your use of Rites. The classes we offer will need to be at secure locations. So I'm also asking those with power and influence over technology to help me begin sweeping our Caern Heart and the Bawn for anything that could observe us, in both the realm and the umbra. I'm also asking for help in finding a secure place to teach the Rites.

The Sept of the Mother's Blood will grow strong once again.

I can teach Rites of Accord: Rite of Clensing and Rites of the Caern: Rite of the Opened Caern. I will teach those at our Sept in the Umbra on the night of the Waning Moon of the 30th and 31st.

Keep in mind... one of the things we discovered is that the weaver is duplicating his observing efforts. We need to make certain that the Umbra is free of observation spirits.

While I am but a visitor here, I would be happy to discuss this matter with you while I am here.  Our Caerns are sacred and needs must be protected.  Such was the reason for my visit initially – to open lines of communication between my sept and this.. so that we may be able to call upon one another for aid, that no one must stand alone against the enemy.
