Edit: Got it. Needed to disable driver signature enforcement using the following instructions, then re-install Sena Bluetooth Device Manager so it pushes the drivers again. I had to hold Minus (-) during the firmware update or else the device would disconnect. Your mileage may vary on that detail:
Click the Start Start menu and select Settings. Click Update and Security. Click on Recovery. Click Restart now under Advanced Startup. Click Troubleshoot. Click Advanced options. Click Startup Settings. Click on Restart. On the Startup Settings screen press 7 or F7 to disable driver signature enforcement. Your computer will restart and you will be able to install non-digitally signed drivers. If you restart your computer again the driver signature enforcement will be re-enabled.
The RC4 has grippy rubber on the inside of the claw and grips very securely, if needed Sena includes thick rubber bands to slide over your grip. The claw is made from aluminum and has a fairly strong spring to hold onto the grip. This design conveniently places the controller within reach of your left thumb, however does increase reach to the other controls on your left hand. Button layout matches the 10R unit with the addition of a multifunction button that can be used to control additional functions on other Sena devices. There is one red LED indicator light to signal when the device is turned on/off, battery life when turned on, and when the device is in pairing mode. This LED is very dim and can only be clearly seen indoors or at night.
Once you have the unit installed, then you have to learn how to use it. Unfortunately, this is a real challenge. As I mentioned above, the 30K comes with a 100 page user guide. Learning to use the features on this unit is essentially like learning another language. It requires you to literally learn or memorize (or constantly lookup) combinations of buttons to activate to use various features. For example, your mesh intercom functions are controlled via the mesh button on the top of the unit. The features such as creating, joining, leaving, or rejecting a mesh network are all accessed by how long you hold down the button. A tap of the button, holding it for 1 second, 2 seconds, 3 seconds, 5 seconds and 8 seconds all access different features. Trying to remember what they all do is not easy.
I'm suspecting that it is reinstalling the drivers because it still sees the device as being attached to the PC in the Settings menu, but doesn't have a driver for that device. Windows automatically downloads and installs drivers for devices that it is attached to. This causes the drivers to reappear and cause the issue you're dealing with.
For me, the key here was showing the hidden devices. Since I wasn't uninstalling those, anytime I attempted to add my device back it would refer to those instances which apparently had corrupted drivers. I hope this helps someone else in need.
