MOUNDS VIEW — Mounds View police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who hasn’t been seen since Labor Day.

Henry McCabe’s family reported him missing last week.

The 31-year-old Mounds View resident works at the Minnesota Department of Revenue, police said.

Police think he was given a ride to a SuperAmerica station along Minnesota 65 in Spring Lake Park or Fridley, said Mounds View Police Chief Tom Kinney.

Investigators have requested video surveillance footage from the SuperAmerica stations in an attempt to verify where McCabe was last seen, Kinney said.

They already have listened to a voice mail his wife received, but Kinney said it didn’t offer any clues about his whereabouts.

A Department of Revenue spokesman said the agency has been in contact with law enforcement and is cooperating with their investigation.

“We hope for Henry’s safe return,“ said department spokesman Ryan Brown.

McCabe is described as 6 feet tall and 168 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair.
