NARVOAD/NADR is looking for potential partners who may have the ability to help identify resources to help with unmet needs for victims of the 2023 Spring River Flooding.   We are currently working with a couple who live 25 miles from Ruby that suffered a total loss of their home.  Unfortunately, they do not live in one of the designated disaster areas so will not be eligible to receive state assistance.  Attached are two photos of their flooded property.

The family would appreciate some assistance with:

Building supplies so they can build a 20’ x 20‘ cabin, a list is attached.  Their plan is to build higher on their property, so flooding is not a problem in the future.

Dried foods/MRE’s

Sewing Machine (was used to make goods to sale)

They also lost an older diesel generator and their chest freezer that they said they can eventually save money to replace these items.

If you have any resources or know of any assistance available, I would appreciate being contacted.

Thank you for any assistance.
