DevFest Akure Final Notes

Hello,

The Date for the Devfest is finally here, here are some final checklists before coming

1. The Venue is Royal Birds Alagbaka

2. If you have a modem, Please come along with it. The best Network there is MTN. We would be providing some level of internet by subscribing on the Modem that you provide, and the ones we have already

3. We have a limited supply of power strips(extension boxes), We would appreciate it if you come with a personal extension box

4. Lunch will be served by the Royal Birds Resturant(I should have moved this to 7)

5. Please share as much pictures and stories about the event on Google+, we would be using the following hashtags

#gdg #devfest and Ingress wants to make the event more fun, so #ingress

If you have an android device, please turn on party mode. If you havn't joined the Event on Google+, the link is bit.ly/devfestakure13

6. Three major Technologies will be used during the program: Android, App Engine and Html. To fully participate, we are encouraging you to download the following

1. Android SDK, with the Latest API Version

2. Google App Engine SDK for Python

3. Google Chrome Browser

4. Eclipse with the Android Developer Tools installed(A Zipped Bundle is available for download on developers.android.com

5. Sublime Text: Its black and I just love the Syntax Highlighting

If you do not have access to the internet, don't worry, we would try to make copies available at the event. We however implore you to bring a flash drive, just to speed up circulation of these tools.

Remember, the Program starts at 9:00am.
