Greetings friends of pools. I would like to
thank Marcia Harmening for getting this schedule to me to distribute to
all of you.
You should know that if Bartlett and/or Service is closed it will
affect all users of all Anchorage pools not to mention the entire
state.
- Imagine 3-4 high schools practicing at one
pool.
- Imagine hosting the Gold Nugget Triathlon
(1200 participants) at a facility other than Bartlett.
- Imagine swim lesson waiting lists doubling
from +100 to +200 or more.
- Imagine hosting Alaska Swimming's Junior
Olympics at a pool with less than 38% the capacity of Bartlett.
We can do something about it! Whether you live
in Anchorage, or not, there is something you can do. Please read on to
see how you can help!
