Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to support cross-functional IT initiatives and business transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience coordinating multiple project activities, and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.

This role requires someone who can manage project documentation, track deliverables, facilitate communication, and help ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate cross-functional IT project activities
  • Schedule meetings and distribute meeting minutes and action items
  • Track project documentation, milestones, and deliverables
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Support project managers in documenting project scope and requirements
  • Assist with requirements gathering, testing coordination, training, and rollout activities
  • Maintain project schedules, RAID logs, and status reporting
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Create communication materials including presentations, emails, and project reports
  • Manage customer expectations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Support resource forecasting and project tracking using reporting tools
  • Collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recent project management or project coordination experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management tools
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale program implementations
  • Government or public sector project experience preferred
  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
