I had a Ping G400 Max driver and that bad boy was sweet. Loved it but as a club guy I upgraded to the Ping G425 Max and I thought it performed on par with the G400 MAx or even a bit better. My only complaint is the noise issue but that really does not bother me all that much.
Last week I went in a test drove the 430 and put it against my 400 max. After many swings with both drivers all the numbers were better for the 430 inside on a sim. I live in Michigan where it will be at least a month before I can hit it outside here. Lucky me next week I am going to the Grand National in Opelika for 3 days of golf. The fitter put me into the 430 SFT so far playing in an indoor sim league I am very happy with the driver. Was the switch worth it? I will let you know after next week from Alabama.
I was just playing the G400 Max until I got my 430 LST and for me, the 430 is so much better in every way it isnt even funny. Before that I only hit the 430 Max indoors but it is noticeably quieter than the 425 IMO. I tend to spin the ball so I went LST this time, but if the LST is this forgiving, the 430 Max must be a total fairway finder. This could be the driver that finally unseats the G400 Max from its cult status.
I went through an extensive driver fitting today. I hit every single new every new head. I went in open minded, but the PING G430 came out the winner. (2nd place was the TSR) I loved the G400. Max. It was one of my favorite driver of all time. I foolishly sold it. (Then bought 2 others that didn't have the same magic. I owned 3 different G410 Plus models. It was OK, but I couldn't find the love with it either. I had a short dalliance with the G425. I didn't like the sound at all...and performance wise it wasn't close to the G400 Max for me.
Having tried both drivers - for me... the main difference was in the sound of the G425.. not great, but something I can live with. Followup question is.. if both drivers are similar for a person.. is there any future-proof tech in the G430 that would make it more appealing?
What people use to warrant a purchase is their prerogative, but I was talking strictly in relation to performance gains. I agree that drivers are VERY expensive and you may only experience minimal gains (tough to say what that translates to). But then again I've never calculated how many shots it could possibly save me and divide it by the total to warrant a purchase.
I have played Taylormade drivers since the R15. I always wanted to get a ping driver always tried them never got along with them at all. I just came home with a 9 degree g430 max after testing all the heads and lofts. This was by far the most forgiving and best distance head for me. I had a g425 for a very short time because I wanted the forgiveness of it but it was just a bad relationship with the 2. The G430 max on the other hand is a very good stable driver.
For this test, 35 golfers tested the COBRA LTDx MAX driver inside our lab over 420 hours. Data was collected using Foresight GCQuad launch monitors. To minimize variables, all testers hit Titleist Pro V1 golf balls. Outliers were removed and data was aggregated before scores were calculated.
A: Typically, it takes three to five years for manufacturers to make any significant performance gains. Though we all want something new from time to time, our recommendation is to buy a new driver only when it appreciably outperforms what is already in your bag.
With its recognisable two-tone crown and head-turning inertia generator on the sole, as well as the fact it was in the hands of the likes of DJ, Tiger, Rory and Jon Rahm every week on the PGA Tour, it became the must-have driver in both the professional and amateur game.
At one point in 2020, TaylorMade sold more SIM drivers in a six week stretch than M5 or M6 drivers in six months of the previous year, and so unsurprisingly it was the number one selling metal wood in the UK last year.
The Milled Back Face Cup is the only part of the driver head that is crafted from titanium, and this encourages better energy transfer to improve ball speeds. Behind the face there is internal CNC milling which varies the thickness of the face at certain points, allowing for more consistent results on different strikes.
Speaking of Twist Face, this technology still remains in the SIM2 drivers although the Speed Injection ports (the blue dots) have been modified to just one port located on the outer toe which TaylorMade says can 'manipulate speed across the face'.
I think these drivers will be the best selling of 2021. TaylorMade go big on marketing and all of their tour professionals will have SIM2 or SIM2 Max in the bag. The new blue ring will be easily seen and identified on the television and I know that plenty of golfers will want to play the same driver as Rory or DJ.
The SIM2 is suited to the players who have a higher swing speed and are wanting low spin and low launch. The SIM2 Max is more of an all-rounder which will suit the majority of golfers from elite to mid-handicappers, with a slightly higher launching, mid spin, more forgiving driver.
Host connection is via gigabit Ethernet and a special version of UHD provides a host driver, along with FPGA and ZPU firmware. An alternate version of the firmware, 4xDDC, can be used to provide double the number of receive signal paths (4), for receive-only applications.
The comedi project aims to offer drivers for many different data acquisition devices. GNU Radio includes a component that uses this library, which enables GNU Radio to use all devices support by comedi. Comedi is based on Linux kernel drivers, which results in good real time capabilities, but binds comedi to the Linux platform.
While the FIA has introduced a new rule stating that drivers are now prohibited from stopping in the fast lane in the pits during qualifying sessions. This will hopefully put an end to the antics that led to incidents in the pit lane in Singapore and Mexico.
Sergio Perez is one driver that especially will be desperate for a positive race, having been forced to retire at his home event last time out on the first corner and the pressure remains on the Red Bull man, with Fernando Alonso the latest star linked with his under-pressure seat.
Russell was one of the leading causes of the regulation changes with he and Max Verstappen both stopping at the end of the pit lane in Mexico City last weekend, prompting a furious reaction from other teams and drivers, and causing the FIA to step in and introduce new rules for the trip to Brazil.
"Brazil has such a rich racing heritage, and this iconic circuit is a favourite of drivers and fans around the world. It embodies everything that is great about racing, and we look forward to seeing how it develops over the years to come to create an even better experience."

Speed Up Your Load Time:
To further speed up your load time you can bypass the intro movies when loading the game.
Delete the files inside the \rFactor\MovieFiles folder of your installation.
Be sure to look there after loading a new MOD as the developers like to put new files there.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
We sometimes get asked the same questions more then ones.
so i thought i would post some tips and tricks to getting your install of rfactor up and running sweet.
This is a few things i do as soon as i install rfactor.
1. Multiplayer.ini Tweak
Find the following lines in your multiplayer.ini file and change them to the values below.
The multiplayer file can be found in rfactor\UserData\yourName\ folder.
Chance Concurrent Server Updates="999"
Default="400" This value relates to the number of server listed when you click on multiplayer.
If you have trouble finding online server then this value should help.
instead of show 400 servers it will attempt to show 999 multiplayer servers with each refresh.
Do not make this number any higher than 999 as it will default back to 400.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A great tweak that helps to avoid laggy drivers is open multiplayer ini file with wordpad
Edit Max Data Per Client="9999" to 128
Max Data Per Client="128" after that join a server you have high ping on and see the difference no more laggy cars
This edit also helps when host servers to not drain the upload speed
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
To see your own ping on server use klick on 2 default that shall show your own ping in chat just u see it.
or you can write in chat /ping and hit enter
That ping is what you have but other drivers can see you have much higher ping.
Low ping on a server you have if you race on a server that is hosted in your country or near your country.
Higher ping you have and other drivers if you race on a server that is on the other side off the world then where you live.
On servers you get high ping on it can be lags cars dissapear and so on.

Max MP Players="104"
If the upload drain your server so it lagg

Max Data Per Client="128"
Faster delay between sessions.
Allow Hotlap Completion="16" 16 means that hotlap is on Qualify ! so 5 sec after session and last hotlap in Q
Server goes to next session
Delay Between Sessions="5.00000"
Delay After Race="20.00000"
This is minimum time i have test
