Congratulations to Joanne Wainwright, our state chair, and Alaska's sole representative at the SCY Nationals held at the end of April. Joanne set state records (women 55-59) in 5 of her 6 events. Four of the records she broke were her own, set in our state meet in February. She took almost 7 seconds off her 500 free record and shaved over 10 seconds off her 400 IM record, as well as bettering her 100 and 200 fly records. Way to go, Joanne!
