January One-hour postal swim

There has been some interest expressed in the Anchorage area in doing
the national one-hour postal swim in January. If you are not
familiar with this event, check out the information on the USMS web
site at http://www.usms.org/longdist/ldnats10/OHPentry.pdf

The objective is to swim as far as you can in one hour. If there is
enough interest among Anchorage area swimmers, I will reserve the APU
pool for a time slot in January once SWAM has established its new
weekend practice time.

If you are interested in swimming this event in Anchorage, please let
me know by December 19 so I can determine if there is a need to
reserve the pool.
