Bielefeld, Bonn and Paderborn University are advertising many postdoc and PhD positions in the framework of a Collaborative Research Center (see text below).

In particular there are two PhD positions available in project A1: The structure of (almost) lattices – algebra, analysis, and arithmetic (PIs: myself, Michael Baake and Christopher Voll).

The newly founded Collaborative Research Center TRR 358 „Integral structures in geometry and representation theory" funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) advertises 14 postdoc and 16 PhD positions. 

The starting dates are flexible but the positions are to be filled as soon as possible. The CRC is based at Bielefeld, Paderborn, and Bonn.  Funding will be available starting January 2023.

The CRC pursues a broad research programme which includes research projects in the fields of algebraic combinatorics, automorphic forms, arithmetic and complex algebraic geometry, categorical representation theory, geometric group theory, and harmonic analysis on locally symmetric spaces and affine buildings.

The Collaborative Research Center will create a very active research environment with many visitors, seminars, and workshops. The CRC also provides funding for travel. Most of the advertised positions are without teaching duties.
