Dear Aloys,

I hope you had a nice ABKLS in your honor and attendance was good. For me it was an additional event, in between Heidelberg Laureate Forum and a trip to Budapest (for which I flew on the previous Sunday).
In earlier times when the DB was still running smooth I would have been tempted to go straight
from Heidelberg to Aachen, despite being tired from the meeting in Heidelberg and having to leave Sunday to Budapest. Due to Stellwerke works, travel between Cologne and Bonn was quite problematic, something that already made life complicated on going to Heidelberg and I was not so willing to test my DB luck further...

I hope we meet at a next ABKLS!
