My son Ullas,is a member of kannada koota in Dallas.I will be with him from 13th August to 16th Ocxtober.Hence it should be possible for me to attend AkKA sammelan.
I am based in Bangalore. I retired as additional Commissioner of Income-Tax.Given a chance I can address the gathering on Tax Planning for NRIs.I am founder Secretary of Shivarama karantha Vedike.I have published 4 anthologies,one novel in Kannada and a book on income-tax in English.I can contribute an article Kuvempu, Karanth and Gopala Krishna Adiga for your Sovenier.
I just returned from this morning .I had been there on professional assignment.I have yet to visit your website. Most probably 5 of us including my wif,e.son ,daughter-in law and grandson may attend the coference.

The event is hosted by Nrupathunga Kannada Koota, one of the oldest Kannada Kootas (est. 1973) and a member of AKKA since its inception.
