Hi guys.

Thanks to some great work by the Akka team I'm now glad to announce
the release of Akka 0.7.

The full change notes are available here:
http://doc.akkasource.org/release-notes
But here is a list of some of the highlights:
* Apache Camel integration
* Spring integration
* Server-managed Remote Actors
* Redis-based transactional queue storage and sorted set backend
* Distributed Comet

You can download the Akka 0.7 distribution here:
http://github.com/jboner/akka/downloads
It is tagged with 'v0.7' if you prefer to pull the sources from github.

You can read some more about it here: http://www.infoq.com/news/2010/03/akka-10

The roadmap for the upcoming 0.8 can be seen here:
http://www.assembla.com/spaces/akka/milestones/177535-0-8 (you can
influence it)

Enjoy.

Thanks. Your perf improvements made akka's event-based actors 40%
faster. Great work.

Fantastic. Akka fills a huge void and paves the way for how services
will be developed going forward. Keep rockin!
