http://doc.akka.io/docs/akka/snapshot/scala/dataflow.html says: " I recommend you to read the documentation for the GPars implementation, which is heavily influenced by the Akka implementation".

Since GPars came before Akka, should the docs not say the opposite instead? " I recommend you to read the documentation for the GPars implementation, which heavily influenced the Akka implementation."

Do you have a reference for that? (Ie, gpars dataflow predating Akkas)

No, Vaclav Pech's (creator of GPars) impl was influenced by the
original Akka DataFlow implementation found here (before Akka):

Jonas,

Scala DataFlow had DataFlow Streams.and GPars has Dataflow Queues and Broadcasts. How would these features map to the current or future Akka implementation?
