What are you trying to do?
Can't you define your own CreateRandomNameChild message, send it to the actor, which creates the actor with ordinary actorOf without name, and then replies to the requester?

I'm making a first cut at port akka-amqp (my fork of https://github.com/momania/akka-amqp) to Akka 2.1. Most issues seem resolvable but I'm stuck on the use of

akka.actor.CreateRandomNameChild. This case class seems to have gone away in Akka 2.1. Is there a similar mechanism in Akka 2.1
