Hi,I am Ekin; an Akka fan, totally in love with the science, philosophy and execution behind it. I also am Infrastructure Tech Lead in VNGRS, Typesafe partner in Istanbul, Turkey. We develop most our systems on Akka, and I believe it is time I begin my own contributions to the project. I read Developer Guidelines and signed the License Agreement. However, I still am confused and need direction.
Following some advice in the mail archive, I began by checking out community-contrib labelled issues; found one, which is https://github.com/akka/akka/issues/17023; and implemented it as suggested. But was I supposed to do this? How do I know this issue is already accepted for implementation? Should I go on and open a PR, or should I wait to be assigned this issue, first? If so, how do I propose my candidacy?
--Cheers,Ekin.
