1) he's saying that our government is set up to work so that the people elect someone to represent them, but the political leaders ignore the people once they're elected. I think that this is somewhat true, but there are problems of the people that are addressed.

 

3) it is important for polititions to know how people vote so they can have a plan set up that enables them to get as many votes as they can.
