Workwise I see many progress.if actually Bengal shelter pays interest we may get electricity in 2 to 3 months.
I have noticed we get genset supplied power for more than a week.
But before that life was horrible with construction power.
Many people lost the electrical appliances because of sever voltage fluctuation.now we are able to use ACs AT night too.

Hope more good news to be heard from the promoter.

Anyone got any info on this ? SBI has taken over Barnaparichay recently.
SBI has listed Akankha in the SARFAESI notice. We still do not know when
electricity will come, when Akankha will get clearance certificate from
Hidco and finally when we can do registration.
If any resident is reading it, please respond. I will post this in the
akankhanewtown.com forum as well.

Recently I was doing some google search with Bengal Shelter, Samar Nag, Prasenjit Ganguly with some extra parameters like complaint, fraud etc. Unfortunately, I got some disturbing articles. Do these search yourself to see the results.

See the subsection with title 'Delay in hand over' by Ranjanananda. It is mentioned that BS has mortgaged 5 acres land of TeenKanya to SBI to raise Rs. 140 crores. Can anyone in Kolkata verify if Akankha's land (or anything within project boundary) is mortgaged too. SBI listed Akankha in the SARFAESI notice as well.
