Apple School Manager Integration

I'm curious if anyone has integrated Apple School Manager with PowerSchool.  If so, does it work well?  Right now Lake & Pen and Bristol Bay are both manually creating accounts in ASM.  I know the ability to integrate these two became available this fall but I've been holding off.

Jim,

We’ve been using since release.

I’m pretty happy with integration.

Of note, the sync occurs each night, so one of our issues is we cannot issue devices until the day after student is placed in PowerSchool (1:1 iPads).

Other than that, classroom app sync works great, and the integration has run pretty seamless.

I am even pretty happy with the ASM VPP sync.

Southwest has the PowerSchool -> ASM linkage setup. That was pretty easy. Integrating it with JAMF has apparently been a bit of a pain though. If you’d like to talk to our guy that has been working on it, let me know and I’ll send you his contact info off-list.

Good point.  We use Meraki for MDM.

There were some growing pains there too, but running fairly smoothly now.

Thanks Matt, good to hear!  We're using Jamf though, so I'll chat with Kyle and get the scoop from SWRSD about that integration.
