Hello everyone,

My CTE director has "been told that PowerSchool has a pluging that is used to track Perkins and CTE classes, making reporting much easier and more accurate," but he has no idea where the plugin comes from or if any school districts in AK use it.

Does anyone know which plugin he's talking about? Have you used it? Does it work well?

I have checked PowerSource and the plugins spreadsheet from the February class and didn't find anything.

Thank you in advance for any help or direction,
Maraiya

Could they be referring to the built in report in Powerschool?
Data and Reporting -> Reports -> Compliance Reports -> Alaska Carl Perkins Report

I believe there's some configuration that has to be done at the course level for this to be completely accurate.
The below is a information is from an email chain I had with Robin two years ago.

Courses do need to be designated as ‘vocational’ for the report to function.

The report produces two files you can copy/paste into the template from DEED.

There’s no plugin, but it’s built into AK State Reporting. I posted a writeup about it to the Alaska Education Exchange a year ago upon the request of Sheila Box. I’ve attached a copy here.
