Datastream F1 app for Android/iPhone

I was looking at the F1 app for the iPhone/Android etc and they can
also display on which tyre the driver is riding, it looks like it has
more data availeble in the app as the app also can display where the
driver is on track.

Any idea where that app get's that data from?

I would assume with the application being official, it has access to
more data sources. We are limited to what's displayed by the
formula1.com applet.

Can the (Android) app be reverse engineerd, as you have to login with
the same credentials as for the regular timing data.
This data has to come from a server which accepts the same credentials
so whe should be able to get at it if we know the adress.
