I'm close to wrapping up the next release of ajm objects. If anyone
can try this out and give feedback, that would be great:

http://compusition.com/ajm-objects/ajm-objects-0.9b5.zip

Changes since beta 3:
- Various bug fixes (especially windows-specific bugs)
- JRuby upgraded from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2
- A new message "createfile" is supported, which creates the @file in
the folder of the current patch. You can use this in conjunction with
double click (to open your editor) to easily get started writing a new
ruby script. This feature is currently not documented, so if this
sounds interesting and you can't figure it out, ask for help.

I'm trying to minimize the files required for installation. Many files
are no longer required and should be deleted. Please follow the
instructions "UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION" in the included
INSTALL.txt file for how to clean up previous installations.

At this point there are no known issues except for a fairly obscure
bug in JRuby that causes a problem converting some subclasses of Ruby
Numeric back to Max data types. I don't think most people will run
into that problem and there's an easy workaround. Oh, and there was an
issue with using the Max "textedit" object as input to ajm.ruby, but
it got fixed in Max 5.1.5 which was just released (http://
cycling74.com/downloads/). So the errors in the help patchers should
be gone now.

Cheers,
Adam
