Location: Woodlawn, MD
Duration: 6+ Months contract

CISCO:
Must-haves:
Extensive experience with complex voice, data and video infrastructure technologies
Experience working with CISCO Suite products and data configuration experience
Experience with Quality of Service and Multicast technologies.
Experience with SIP protocol.
Wireless networking technologies.
Expertise in network performance analysis.
Experience in architecture, design and support of high availability networks.
Strong network routing and switching experience.
Expertise in troubleshooting LANs, WANs, and network monitoring.
Microsoft Office and Visio skills.

Plusses:
Experience with 3-tier architecture
Cisco certified, minimum CCNP and preferably CCDA.
Understanding of IPB6 (underlying IP addresses)
Experience with and understanding the capabilities of Microsoft Lync 2010.
Experience with Avaya voice systems.
Knowledge and experience in proposal development.
Project implementation background.

Day-to-Day:
This person will provide support as the Sr. Engineer for the Unified Communications team. They will be required to lead the engineering, design, and implementation of voice, data, and video UC technologies (installing components, supporting data and voice communications switches, monitor network with performance tools, test UC infrastructure components). They will be responsible for leading the team with voice, data, and video technical solutions and help troubleshooting issues.
