Dear All,
Let me invite your attention to an immediate fund raiser required for our alumni activities for the one to be held on December 22nd this year.
One of the main events was to felicitate teachers who completed 10 years of service in our college.
Their names are as listed below:

What we had planned was to present a memento as our token of appreciation. I am attaching a sample memento we had seen which is on a wooden frame. Each could cost around Rs.1500/- ; a price inquired from Cochin
There is a student team who developed the Alumni Website (which I hope you would have seen or else here it is: www.alumni.ajce.in) and we thought of rewarding them also.
We could extend our regards by giving away mementos to them also.
Then we have the Alumni Awards - again another 3 for which people are submitting nominations and that would again cost the same as the ones for faculty.

This is always a team work and all of us make this work out by putting in a small contribution. I hope it would not be wrong if I ask you to put in an amount of Rs.1000/- for this cause before December 10th. Any lesser significant amount is also acceptable but your participation is most important.
We had launched Satish John Memorial Scholarships in 2009 upon the demise of our dear Satish John sir. So far with amount that was raised, we had given away an amount of Rs.2000/- per topper of each branch over these two years. (Please visit: http://www.alumni.ajce.in/index.php/get-involved)
The Alumni Committee had decided to raise an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to sponsor the education of a deserving student. So your contribution will be counted in for that too. This amount needs to be handed over by the beginning of next academic year.
