Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: New York City, NY

Work Type: Contract (C2C)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions.

  • Work extensively with Snowflake and SnowSQL for data warehousing and analytics.

  • Develop and optimize data processing using Python and PySpark.

  • Ensure data reliability, performance, and quality across platforms.

  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and operations teams using ServiceNow and/or Jenkins.

  • Support production deployments and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer.

  • Hands-on expertise with Snowflake (including SnowSQL).

  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or Jenkins.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Nice to Have

  • Financial services or banking domain experience.

  • Experience working in large-scale data platforms.
