My client is looking for Salesforce Engineering Manager for 12 Month Contract role based in Atlanta, GA
Position: Salesforce Engineering Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 Month Contract
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :Experience Level: 10+ years (with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers and administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies (e.g., CI/CD, code reviews, security, and data management).
• Manage project delivery timelines, resource allocation, and prioritization to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.
• Stay abreast of Salesforce platform releases, emerging features, and integration opportunities to optimize system capabilities.
• Drive automation, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives across Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT leaders to ensure alignment with overall technology strategy and ecosystem integration.
Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of Salesforce platform experience, including at least 3 years in a people management or team lead capacity.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, data model, and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and third-party integrations.
• Experience managing DevOps processes using tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer II.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a multi-cloud Salesforce environment.
• Prior experience in a global or large enterprise setup with cross-functional delivery teams.
