If you're thinking of starting a new project with AjaxScaffold you
should definently use ActiveScaffold (activescaffold.com) instead.

AjaxScaffold will still be here but development has ceased and
support, in the form of answering emails about it or monitoring this
forum, has as well.

Thanks

How easy is it to upgrade to ActiveScaffold? I've got several critical
overrides and use the ScaffoldColumns array to customize the output.

Thanks...jon

It's not straight-forward. A lot has changed. ScaffoldColumns doesn't exist anymore, and the overrides have moved a bit. On the upside, ActiveScaffold just plain does more and you may not need as much customization.

Hmmm… well, if I were to make the move, does ActiveScaffold treat the before_save, after_save, and after_find “normally”? I tried them with AjaxScaffold and they didn’t work as expected, so I’m assuming there’s something going on behind he scenes that I’m not able to grok.

Cheers…jon
