Role Summary
The Principal Engineer is a senior technical expert responsible for designing and guiding the development of large-scale applications and platforms. This role provides hands-on leadership across backend, frontend, and integration work. A Principal Engineer helps set technical direction, solve complex engineering problems, and ensures systems are built with high quality, performance, and reliability. They work closely with teams, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions to support long-term business and technology goals.

Backend Engineering
  • .NET Core / .NET 6–8 (Dependency Injection, logging/monitoring, error handling, performance tuning)
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), request throttling, and API versioning.
  • Experience designing distributed systems using DDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and other architectural patterns.
Frontend Engineering
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Angular (v10+) or React.js in large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Component-driven architecture
    • State management using Redux, NgRx, Zustand, or similar frameworks
    • Session and token management (JWT handling, refresh tokens)
    • Client-side routing and guards
    • Reusable UI component libraries, shared modules, and design systems
    • Responsive UI/UX, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
    • Performance optimization (lazy loading, virtual DOM, change detection strategies)
  • Experience integrating complex frontends with REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
Databases & Storage
  • SQL/Sybase (schema design, indexing, query optimization)
  • Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar)
Cloud & Containerization
  • Cloud-native architecture understanding on Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, container orchestration
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy)
Messaging & Events
  • RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
  • Kafka, Event Hub
  • Event-driven architecture and stream processing
Caching & Performance
  • Redis or similar distributed caching
  • High-availability and performance tuning strategies
Testing & Quality Engineering
  • Test frameworks: NUnit, xUnit, MSTest
