Visa: USC & GC only

More of a network engineer that has wireless experience as well

 

Job Description:

Summary
We are seeking a Network Engineer II / Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and office environments. This is a hands-on role focused on switching, wireless, and overall network reliability, while also contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers.


Key Skills & Experience

·        Strong hands-on experience designing and configuring enterprise switching platforms (Aruba CX or Cisco IOS required)

·        Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise wireless networks; Extreme XIQ experience is a plus

·        Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, spanning tree, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting

·        Experience supporting multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Extreme, HP)

·        Exposure to distribution, manufacturing, or large office network environments preferred

·        Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight

Level Alignment

·        Network Engineer II: 2–4 years of hands-on network engineering experience; able to independently execute designs and resolve most operational issues

·        Senior Network Engineer: 5+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership, architecture influence, mentoring of junior staff, and ownership of complex network initiatives

Qualifications

·        Experience with BICSI standards and structured cabling practices

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

·        Willingness to travel up to 20% as required

·        This role is based out of the Blue Ash, Ohio office

·        Candidate is expected to work in the office or at project worksites 4–5 days per week, depending on project timelines and business needs
