POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

Job Summary

This role focuses on implementing and maintaining enterprise backup and security solutions using Dell technologies. The candidate will design and automate data protection strategies, ensuring reliability and recovery readiness across systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Dell Cyber Vault, Avamar, and PowerProtect (Data Domain) environments.

• Manage and deploy Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) virtual appliances.

• Develop automation scripts using Python and Ansible for backup optimization.

• Perform data recovery testing and maintain compliance documentation.

• Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams to enhance resilience.

 

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Dell Avamar, PowerProtect, and Cyber Vault solutions.

• Hands-on experience with SCG (OVA) and automation scripting.

• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for process automation.

• Strong understanding of enterprise backup, security, and compliance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years Proven experience as an IT Storage Specialist or similar role.
