Day to Day Responsibilities

• Overseeing day to day activities within offshore/nearshore leads and cross functional teams providing technical oversight to day to day delivery and execution tasks
• Meeting with business partners and stakeholders and communicating project updates, escalating impediments and providing input pertaining to execution and strategy
• Meeting with business resources to understand requirements and perform full lifecycle of software development and maintenance: analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation to production
• Reverse engineering code and completed work to understand and current state and ability to identify gaps
• Collaborating with other group Technical Leads around best practices, pain points and trends
• Performing code reviews
• Merge requests

 

Must Have Skills/Requirements: 

• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipeline concepts - Java based coding and Web API concepts to provide strategic recommendations to development teams
• Experience as a technical project lead
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Process Analysis experience
• SAFe

 

Nice to haves’ skills/technologies:

• AI technology for code reviews - copilot
• SpringBoot
• Gitlab
• Previous USAA experience
• Previous experience working in the insurance domain
