Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Gen AI Engineer to join the Apple Content Solutions Team for a cutting-edge Generative AI initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agent frameworks, and cloud-native development. This role requires hands-on experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications, building AI-driven automation solutions, and deploying scalable applications using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Prior Apple experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven automation solutions using Generative AI technologies.
• Build enterprise applications integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) through APIs and SDKs.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Implement prompt engineering strategies and optimize LLM responses.
• Design and implement AI orchestration workflows using Agentic AI frameworks and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI automation solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes-based environments.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Follow responsible AI deployment practices, including model evaluation, governance, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience integrating LLMs using APIs/SDKs such as Anthropic SDK, OpenAI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of:
• Prompt Engineering
• LLM Orchestration
• AI Agent Frameworks
• Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Evaluation Frameworks
• Responsible AI Practices
• Experience developing AI-powered enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Maven and Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
