Job Title: Sage Functional Consultant
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sage Functional Consultant to support ongoing ERP implementation, enhancement, and optimisation initiatives for our client. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Sage ERP solutions and be capable of gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, and supporting end users throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Configure and implement Sage ERP modules based on business needs.
• Lead functional workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customisations, data migration, and reporting requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and system optimisation recommendations.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within established timelines.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on Sage ERP functional consulting experience.
• Experience with one or more Sage products such as Sage Intacct, Sage X3, Sage 100, Sage 300, or Sage 500.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Order Management, and related business processes.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
• Availability to work during EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
• Sage certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP integrations and data migration projects.
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools integrated with Sage solutions.
