Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Engineer with experience in test automation, CI/CD, application security, cloud security, and vulnerability management. The selected candidate will design scalable automation frameworks, integrate automated testing and security controls into delivery pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality and security.

 

Test Automation and Quality Engineering Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and backend applications.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve regression coverage and release confidence.

Support release validation and production-readiness activities for digital platforms.

Develop tools that improve test execution, reporting, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Evaluate emerging security and automation technologies and conduct proof-of-concept implementations.

Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and lightweight governance processes.

Promote technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Security Engineering and Vulnerability Management Responsibilities

Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure.

Integrate SAST, DAST, software-composition analysis, and container-scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.

Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and security risks.

Promote secure coding and shift-left security practices aligned with OWASP principles.

Support PCI-DSS assessments, internal reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives.

Implement and support secrets-management solutions and secure identity and access controls.

Apply least-privilege principles across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

Monitor applications, infrastructure, and delivery pipelines for vulnerabilities and anomalies.

Coordinate patching, remediation, and infrastructure-hardening activities.

Collaborate with engineering teams during incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

At least three years of experience in security engineering, test automation, or a combination of both.

Experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.

Experience with security-testing tools such as Snyk, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or comparable technologies.

Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or another relevant programming language.

Solid understanding of application-security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities.

Experience working with AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
