Job Description:
The environment consists of a mature hybrid infrastructure model, including on-premises virtualization platforms and cloud-integrated systems. Strong operational discipline, documentation practices, and infrastructure automation experience are expected.

Required Technical Experience
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with:
Enterprise Linux distributions (multiple flavors preferred)
Pulp or similar repository management tools
Docker container platforms
iSCSI storage protocols
LVM and multipathing
SSH administration
Bash and/or Python scripting
Configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform preferred)
System services management
Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem virtualization + cloud integration) is required.

Key Responsibilities
Linux Infrastructure Operations
Deploy, configure, harden, and maintain enterprise Linux systems across development, test, and production environments.
Patching & Lifecycle Management
Manage operating system updates and patch cycles to ensure security compliance and operational continuity.
Repository Management
Administer and maintain enterprise software repositories (e.g., Pulp or similar), ensuring synchronization, version control, and governance.
Containerization
Deploy and support Docker environments, including image lifecycle management, security hardening, and performance tuning.
Storage Integration
Configure and manage iSCSI connections, LVM, multipathing, and collaborate with storage teams on optimization efforts.
Proof of Concept (POC) Initiatives
Lead infrastructure modernization POCs and provide documentation, recommendations, and transition plans.
ITSM & Incident Management
Track and update incidents within the IT service management system to ensure timely resolution.
