Role - VMWare Tanzu Engineer
Location – Seattle, WA
Type – Contract

 

Job Description

 

We are specifically looking for candidates that have VMWare Tanzu skillset with CI/CD , vRA Pipelines.

 

Must Have:

 

•       Design, implement, and manage VMware Tanzu environments.

•       Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of Kubernetes clusters.

•       Containerize existing applications and ensure seamless integration into Kubernetes environments.

•       Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.

•       Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tanzu and Kubernetes environments.

•       Work closely with development teams to support application deployment and integration.

•       Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

•       Experience with vRA Pipelines & NSX/AVI load Balancers.

•       Experience with Scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, Python & Ansible.

•       Experience with Datadog Monitoring , Flux , Helmcharts.

•       Experience with Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) & VCF.

•       Experience with understanding of SDLC and application architecture

 

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications

 

•       Strong experience in performance analysis for capacity planning and resource utilization.

•       Proven ability to plan, test, document, and implement system maintenance activities across hardware and software environments.

•       Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring technical team members.

•       Experience working within cross-functional teams and contributing subject matter expertise.

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•       Relevant certifications in VMware and Kubernetes are highly desirable.
