Java Developer – Banking Domain (F2F)

Role: Java Developer
Domain: Banking / Financial Services
Location: TX,GA,DE,NY

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for banking systems (payments, loans, core banking, trading, risk, AML, etc.)

  • Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot

  • Develop REST APIs and integrate with internal/external banking systems

  • Work with databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL) and write optimized SQL

  • Ensure security, performance, and regulatory compliance

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+)

  • Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA

  • Microservices architecture

  • RESTful APIs, JSON, XML

  • SQL & RDBMS

  • Experience in banking or financial services domain

  • Understanding of banking concepts:

    • Payments, Cards, Loans, Core Banking

    • KYC, AML, Risk, Compliance

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum

Nice to Have

  • Kafka / MQ

  • Cloud (AWS / Azure)

  • Docker, Kubernetes

  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Git)

  • Exposure to regulatory standards (PCI-DSS, SOX)
