Position Overview
 
The Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in the strategic design and implementation of comprehensive technology solutions that meet business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of application modernization, mainframe modernization (RPG), microservices, security, cloud applications, and the use of generative AI tools like Profound UI. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset.
 

 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Application Modernization: Lead efforts to modernize legacy applications, ensuring seamless integration and improved performance.
     
  • Mainframe Modernization (RPG): Oversee the transition of outdated mainframe systems to contemporary platforms, optimizing code and system functionality.
     
  • Microservices: Design and implement microservices architecture to enhance scalability, flexibility, and maintainability of applications.
     
  • Security: Develop and enforce security protocols across all technology solutions to safeguard data and systems.
     
  • Cloud Applications: Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enhancing operational efficiency.
     
  • Generative AI Tools: Utilize tools to drive innovation in modernization processes, leveraging AI to automate and optimize workflows.
     
  • Assessing current IT systems and designing enhanced architectural models. 
     
  • Setting the direction and approach for an organization's operations. 
     
  • Creating roadmaps, setting standards, and ensuring interoperability of systems. 
     
  • Leading design efforts and formulating logical descriptions of problems. 
     
Required Skills and Qualifications
 
  • Proven experience in application modernization and mainframe modernization (RPG)(preferable).
     
  • Strong background in microservices architecture and implementation.
     
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols and practices, particularly in enterprise environments.
     
  • Expertise in cloud applications and services, with experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives.
     
  • Should be techno-functional and Hands-on with coding with good experience on migration of applications from mainframe to .Net.
     
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, including Profound UI, to enhance modernization efforts.
     
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
     
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
