Role : QA Lead
Location: Maryland Heights, MO (St. Louis) (4 days onsite & 1 day remote per week)

There are 2 onshore and 5-7 offshore teammates.
They expect this person to be the Lead/Manager – very little individual contributor work. They already have people for that.
Their environment is 70% automation, 30% manual.
They have an older environment – HP ALM, Quality Center, UFT, and then Selenium.
They are starting to do some work around AI – any of that experience is simply a “nice to have” but not mandatory.
Need someone with at least 8-10 years of experience.
Will start interviewing as soon as this week – Thursday or Friday.

Notes: The QA lead will be needed to drive quality outcomes across 10 applications by managing test planning, automation frameworks, and execution, while overseeing both onshore and offshore teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and consistent quality standards.
JD:
Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for leading onshore and offshore people.
This person is considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.
He/she has the ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation.
The Quality Assurance Test Lead has the ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools.
Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
