Role: SAP Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX (5 days onsite) (Local preferred)
No H1B/CPT/OPT
Job Description:
Required Skills:
· Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Classic & OO ABAP, OData, SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, CDS Views, RAP, BOFP, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Strong experience developing custom SAPUI5 and Fiori applications, including Fiori Elements, adaptations, and extensions.
· Solid full-lifecycle ABAP development experience, including enhancements, BADIs, and BAPIs.
· Experience configuring, debugging, and supporting SAP Fiori applications.
· Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and data modeling.
· Hands-on experience with ADT (Eclipse) and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
· Knowledge of ABAP CTS and Git-based version control.
· Ability to independently deliver solutions based on high-level functional designs.
· Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
· Proven ability to independently deliver complex SAPUI5 solutions.
· Familiarity with S/4HANA development standards and modern ABAP syntax (7.4+).
· Knowledge of SAP side-by-side extensibility concepts.
· Experience using open-source JavaScript libraries.
Deliverables:
· Collaborate with the technical team on solution design and analysis.
· Develop end-to-end solutions using ABAP, CDS, RAP/BOFP, and SAPUI5/Fiori.
· Debug and enhance custom and standard SAP solutions.
· Coordinate with team members on parallel development, transports, and code management.
· Resolve defects identified during testing cycles.
· Maintain technical and quality documentation.
· Understand and adhere to solution architecture, development standards, and change management processes.
· Provide timely status updates on progress, issues, and risks.
